For one of our clients, we are seeking an experienced Java Developer (A) Financial Platforms to support the development and evolution of modern financial platforms. The role is offered as a contract via an external payroll partner, with an immediate start and strong extension potential.

Description
Tasks
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality backend solutions for financial platforms
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Integrate internal financial systems and third-party services to ensure reliable data flow
- Ensure performance, scalability, security, and data integrity of applications
- Apply best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and global development teams
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java (collections, JSON processing, JDBC)
- Solid expertise with Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot, JPA, JDBC templates, and JMS
- Experience with Maven and modern build tools
- Familiarity with cloud and container technologies (Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Basic knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of API security standards such as OAuth2 and identity & access management
- Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments with basic bash scripting skills
- Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
