For one of our clients, we are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect (A) SAP Finance & Banking Solutions to support a large-scale core banking and finance transformation programme. The role focuses on SAP-centric finance architectures within a complex banking environment and offers a long-term contract until 31.03.2028 with possible extension.

Description
Tasks
- Support the design and implementation of data sourcing and integration solutions centred around Finance applications (Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Treasury)
- Develop holistic target architectures covering applications, data flows, interfaces, and infrastructure components
- Ensure architectural consistency across Finance, Treasury, and Core Banking domains
- Define and support robust integration architectures between SAP and non-SAP systems
- Enable interoperability between core banking platforms, trading systems, risk engines, reporting tools, and group-wide ERP landscapes
- Define data sourcing strategies, mapping rules, and harmonisation approaches within SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW
- Collaborate closely with Data Governance teams to ensure data integrity, lineage, and regulatory compliance
- Support real-time and batch data replication mechanisms
- Provide architectural guidance for data migration from Core Banking and Markets systems to SAP Finance applications
- Oversee data cleansing, validation, cutover planning, and testing activities
- Work closely with project managers, functional leads, DBAs, and developers across all project phases
- Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Controlling, and Treasury stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into robust technical and architectural designs
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a comparable field
- 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in SAP Finance implementations within the financial services industry
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Finance modules including Financial Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Cost Centre Accounting (CCA), Profit Centre Accounting (PCA), Segment Reporting, and Treasury Operations
- Strong understanding of banking-specific finance processes such as General Ledger management, Chart of Accounts (COA), reconciliations, Net Interest Income (NII), and management/regulatory reporting
- Proven expertise in SAP integration patterns, data sourcing, migration, cutover planning, and testing methodologies
- Solid experience with data integration concepts and system interoperability across complex landscapes
- Knowledge of Temenos is considered a strong advantage
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
