Tasks
- Customise and extend the Front Arena platform to enable new risk and valuation capabilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust functionalities across trading and back-office ecosystems
- Ensure end-to-end ownership of critical services, maintaining high availability and minimal downtime
- Lead integrations between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., pricing, market data, risk engines)
- Analyse and resolve complex production incidents through root cause analysis
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and adherence to architectural standards
- Identify and implement improvements for system performance, scalability, and resilience
- Contribute to change and release management within an agile (SAFe) delivery framework
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold strong ethical and risk standards
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience working with Front Arena in trading, mid-office, valuation, and risk environments
- 8+ years of hands-on development experience with AEL, ACM, and ADFL (all mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, particularly structured products and equity derivatives
- Solid understanding of financial product lifecycles (cash flows, corporate actions, expiries)
- Experience with Front Arena data models, workflows, and system components
- Experience working in agile development environments using tools such as Git or Bitbucket
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure
- Willingness to work on Swiss public holidays when required by market activity
- Fluent English required; German is an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of ownership and accountability
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise dynamically
