Front Arena / Market Making Specialist - AMAS (A)

For our client, a leading international financial institution based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior Front Arena Developer to join a dynamic technology team. In this key role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting business-critical trading solutions, driving the integration of Front Arena across the trading ecosystem, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical applications

Tasks

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust solutions across trading and back-office systems
• Take end-to-end ownership of business-critical services, ensuring high availability and minimal production downtime
• Lead the integration of Front Arena with upstream and downstream systems
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production incidents in a timely manner
• Conduct code and architecture reviews to ensure high quality, security, and compliance with architectural standards
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, and operational resilience
• Contribute to change and release management activities within an agile SAFe environment
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience with AMAS, AFG, AIMS, and AMAS interaction with PRIME
• Strong understanding of capital markets, with a particular focus on structured products and equity derivatives
• Solid experience with market making using AMAS and PRIME
• Proven experience integrating Front Arena with trading and back-office applications
• Experience working in agile development environments, ideally using the SAFe framework
• Very good written and spoken English
• Previous experience leading technical teams or mentoring developers is an advantage
