Description

Tasks

  • Process, instruct, and monitor global free-of-payment (FOP) securities transfers involving equities, bonds, and standard investment funds
  • Investigate and exchange settlementrelated information with counterparties via email
  • Issue settlement instructions to domestic and international custodians/central securities depositories using SWIFT MT540/542 messages and other communication channels
  • Monitor outstanding transactions and proactively resolve pending cases, discrepancies, and settlement issues
  • Handle and respond to inquiries and claims from counterparties, custodians, and internal stakeholders
  • Independently investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies, including position breaks, transaction taxes, and fees, as well as related booking and reconciliation activities
  • Manage the team's shared mailbox and telephone hotline, including responding to inquiries and distributing work assignments as appropriate
Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of securities settlement and post-trade operations, including mandatory expertise in SWIFT 54x message types (MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543)
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with SIS Portal, BBH Infuse, and Clearstream Xact (CBL Xact) is advantageous
  • Fluency in English; basic German language skills are a plus
